How do I sync BikeCompanion with Garmin or Wahoo?

Connect your Garmin or Wahoo account from Other › Integrations (Garmin, Wahoo): the bike rides recorded with your bike computer or watch then come into your BikeCompanion history automatically. With Garmin, you can also send your BikeCompanion routes to your device.

Connecting your account #

  1. Open the Other tab, Connections & data section, then Integrations (Garmin, Wahoo).
  2. Tap Connect Garmin or Connect Wahoo.
  3. Sign in and authorize BikeCompanion. The message “Successfully connected to Garmin” (or to Wahoo) confirms the connection.

When you connect, BikeCompanion fetches your past bike rides, then each new ride comes in on its own. Only outdoor bike rides are imported.

Sending a route to your bike computer #

Garmin: in the menu at the top right of the route page, tap Send to Garmin. The route reaches your device at the next sync. The option only appears if your Garmin account is connected.

Wahoo: export the route from its page (menu at the top right, Export, GPX or FIT), then import the file into the Wahoo app. See Export a route.

Disconnecting Garmin or Wahoo #

In Other › Integrations (Garmin, Wahoo), tap Disconnect. Activities already imported stay in your history.

My Garmin rides don’t show up #

  • Check that the ride has reached Garmin Connect: BikeCompanion receives it from there, not directly from the bike computer.
  • Check that your account is still connected in Other › Integrations (Garmin, Wahoo).
  • When you first connect, your history comes in gradually: give it some time.
