A free core #
You can use BikeCompanion without ever subscribing: record your rides, follow and create routes, import your GPX files, view your stats, detect the climbs you’ve done, take part in leagues, connect your Bluetooth sensors and send your activities to Strava and intervals.icu.
What subscriptions pay for #
Costs grow with the number of users: servers, maps and elevation data, 3D video generation, emails and notifications, developer accounts and test phones, and part of the advertising. These costs come to several thousand euros a month.
Your subscription gives you access to the PRO features and also pays for bug fixes and new features. Everyone’s ideas go through the Community ideas board, where anyone can vote.
