Hold your finger on the map for a second: BikeCompanion calculates a route from your position to that point. You can also search for an address, or load one of your saved routes. The ride keeps recording.
Heading to a point or an address #
Before you start (Record tab) or while riding without a route loaded, long-press the map, then tap Start navigation.
To search for an address, use the Place or address field before you start. While riding, tap the gear button at the bottom of the screen, then Search a place.
With a route in progress #
A long press on the map opens the “Selected point” menu:
- Next waypoint takes you through this point right away, then back to the route.
- Last waypoint adds this point just before the finish.
- New destination replaces the current route and guides you to this point.
Loading or changing route while riding #
- Tap the gear button at the bottom of the screen, then in Settings, under Route, choose Load a route (or Change route if you’re already following one, and confirm).
- Select the route, then tap Start with your route.
Good to know #
- A route calculated on the fly doesn’t appear in your saved routes.
- The calculation needs an internet connection.
