BikeCompanion runs on iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later, and on Android 7.0 or later.
The app is free on the App Store and on Google Play. Some features require the PRO subscription: see What does PRO include?.
What the phone needs #
- GPS, essential for recording a ride.
- Internet to create your account, calculate a route and display the map. Recording continues without a network. To have the map without a network, see Offline maps.
- Bluetooth for sensors, radars and smart glasses.
- A barometer if possible, for more accurate altitude. On Android, turn on Barometric altitude in Other › User Preferences (PRO).
A BikeCompanion account #
An account is required: email, Google, Facebook or Apple (on iPhone). Your routes and rides follow you to a new phone and to the web version.
Before your first ride #
