The Varia radar from Garmin<\/a><\/strong>, Bryton radar and MagicShine radar are Bluetooth-enabled rear detection system for bicycles, designed to warn cyclists of vehicles approaching from behind, while also alerting these vehicles to the cyclist’s presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When your radar is connected, a green sidebar appears on the left (or right) side of your screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During your ride, the vehicle’s sidebar will change color to indicate when vehicles are approaching (orange<\/strong>) and to warn of vehicles travelling at high speed (red<\/strong> when a vehicle is approaching at high speed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
